Moviepilot is building the largest English-speaking movie community based on Facebook and
our own website moviepilot.com: An innovative web service centered on first weekend
audiences and upcoming movie projects. We are a well-financed start-up, based in Berlin,
Germany, and quickly growing in team size. We are expanding our social marketing staff and
currently looking for an experienced Senior Facebook Marketing Manager to lead our
Social Marketing Team, reporting directly to the CPO.
Your responsibilities
• Manage and extend all of our Facebook Activities including Facebook Pages,
Campaigns and Custom Edgest
• Recruit, coach and develop junior Facebook Page managers
• Design, implement and monitor all processes and guidelines to maintain our
Facebook Pages and organize the responsible Marketing Team
• Measure and improve the reach, engagement and retention of our Facebook Pages
• Closely cooperate with the editorial team to publish selected content on Facebook
and manage our fanbase
• Manage organic and paid fanbase growth across all our Facebook Pages
• Analyze, own and report team KPIs to management
• Assist our Sales team with ad campaigns on and via Facebook
Your profile
• At least one year of experience as Facebook Page manager publishing to more than
100,000 fans, preferably for a content oriented page (movies, music, web services,
commercials, overall media coverage etc.) or a strong brand
• At least one year of experience working with the Facebook Advertisement Tool and
running campaigns in the Facebook environment
• Solid skills in FB Insights Analysis and Google Analytics
• Solid knowledge of latest developments and trends within the Facebook ecosystem
like open graph objects or customized edges
• Experience in running and managing teams of 5 or more people is a plus, as is
experience with Facebook publishing services like Hootsuite or Sendible
• A highly motivated self-starter and a true team player
• You thrive on fast change and new ideas — your own as well as others’
• Native English speaker
• A regular on Facebook and Twitter
• You LOVE movies, and your enthusiasm is contagious
• Ready to make Berlin your home
